Please join LDRC Volunteer Linda Reeves for a casual and cozy Book Chat to discuss the New York Times Bestseller, Where the Crawdads Sing, written by Delia Owens.

If you have already read this book, you know what a gorgeous page-turner it is. Set in the unique natural world of the marshes on the North Carolina coast, it is a wonderful story of human strength and perseverance. The writing is full of vivid depictions of the wildlife inhabiting the region, a real treasure for nature lovers!

The book and an Audible edition are available on Amazon. If you don’t have access to the book, the film adaptation is still available on Netflix. You are welcome to the Chat whether you’ve read the book or not. We’d just love your company!
Bring your favorite tea, warm slippers, and comforter. Let’s curl up on a cold winter afternoon and travel together to the warm North Carolina marshes with Where the Crawdads Sing.

We will be available to admit people on Zoom as of 12:45 pm. Please arrive no later than 1:05 pm.
